Rory is passionate about helping runners and endurance athletes stay active, perform at their best, and achieve their goals. He regularly works with runners of all abilities, from those starting their running journey through to experienced endurance athletes, treating a range of conditions affecting the foot, ankle, knee, hip, and lower back.

His approach combines evidence-based physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, and education, with a strong focus on training theory and effective injury management. Rory works closely with his patients to understand their goals and develop practical rehabilitation plans that support a safe and successful return to running and sport.

As an endurance athlete himself, Rory understands the physical and mental demands of training and competition. He competes in ultra-distance trail running events ranging from 50 to 160 kilometres both in New Zealand and internationally, and also enjoys cycling, swimming, surfing, hiking, and strength training.
